Board and Committees Interest
Are you interested in joining the Folklorama Board 
and/or Committees for the 2026 - 2027 term?
If you have a passion for embracing and celebrating cultures from around the world, and the time, skills, and commitment to sit on a year-round Board and/or Committee, we encourage you to put your name forward for consideration!

Board applications are due by Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 12:00 pm (noon).  Committee applications are due by Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon).

After the Board application deadline has passed, all qualified Board applicants will be contacted for the next phase of the nomination process, at the discretion of the Nominating Committee.

Applicants must be 18+ years of age in order to apply.
Folklorama's Board of Directors will begin their 2026 - 2027 terms immediately following the 2025 Annual General Meeting, taking place on Thursday, March, 26, 2026.  Committee members will be selected by Board Chairs by late April 2026.  All Board and Committee terms will run from the end of the 2025 AGM until the 2026 AGM in March 2027.
Please note: You will be required to provide a resume/CV, two (2) reference letters, and (if applicable) a verification letter from your Folklorama organization/group membership to indicate that you are a member in good standing.  Verification letters are not required for Individual Members.  If you are not a current member of Folklorama, you will be provided with information on how to obtain a membership, as applicants must be members to be considered.
